Once upon a time, four very famous men stopped by a small town in Northeast Arkansas and changed the reputation of the town forever.

The four very famous men, of course, are The Beetles and the small town is Walnut Ridge.  This very popular musical group has apparently generated a ton of other great artistic events taking place around the Natural State for the 9/16 weekend.

As you and your family celebrates a day off of work and school for Labor Day, how about taking a fun filled adventure in Arkansas.  Travel Writer Kim Williams highlights a few of the MANY things taking place for the holiday weekend.

Some of the activities include a Legendary Blues Festival in a city near the mighty Mississippi River, a giant picnic complete with a 5K and Oldies concert, and a one of a kind arts and crafts festival.

There is never a dull moment in the Natural State!  Travel Writer Kim Williams has the details on a motorcycle event for the whole family featuring music and mountains.  An inspiring traveling exhibit is taking place in Arkansas which highlights the unique perspective of veterans returning home after fighting for our county in war.

Watermelons, grapes, weddings, & bargains!  What do they all have in common?  It's the sign of the beginning of cooler weather in the Natural State.

KASU's Mark Smith with Travel Writer for the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism Kim Williams tell you about festivals featuring watermelons, grapes, and many more delicious treats that's great family fun.

Plus, the ultimate bridal show where you can actually get help planing the wedding of your dreams IN ONE DAY!  Finally, a 160 mile flee market in West Arkansas.  This is a bargain hunter's dream come to life.
