Runoffs in Craighead County include the race for Jonesboro City Clerk between Linda Allison and April Leggett. Unofficial totals from the Secretary of State's office showed that Allison received 48.31% (11,894) of the vote, while Leggett earned 37.01% (9,111).

Craighead County has had 4,432 confirmed cases with 40 deaths, the ADH reported. In addition to surges in new cases, school districts throughout Northeast Arkansas have been identified as in the “red zone” for new cases, according to the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement.
