State Highway Department to Temporarily Close Hwy 351, Old Greensboro Rd

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will close off a portion of state highway 351 (Old Greensboro Rd.) Wednesday for road work.

The closure will take place about 1.3 miles south of the highway 351/358 intersection in Greene County near the Crowley’s Ridge Raceway. The closure will take place from 7am to 4:30pm as crews work to replace a drainage culvert that crosses beneath the highway.

Here's a map of the construction for Wednesday. Highlighted in yellow are the roadways safe to take. Circled in red is the construction zone. The blue arrow shows the detour for local access south of the construction zone.

The department encourages motorist to use Goobertown Road/County Road 792 to U.S. 49 for local access to 351 south.
