Forecasters are predicting storms with damaging winds tonight going into tomorrow.
The National Weather Service has placed 14 counties in the KASU listening area under a Wind Advisory going in effect tonight ahead of the storm system.
Meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Memphis Taylor Trogeon tells KASU news while there is some snow in the forecast, the main threat is wind:
Trogeon says the winds could knock down tree limbs and blow away lawn furniture.
Included in the Wind Advisory in Arkansas are the counties of Randolph, Clay, Lawrence, Greene, Craighead, Poinsett, Mississippi, Cross, Crittenden, St. Francis and Lee.
Dunklin and Pemiscot Counties in Missouri and Lake County in Tennessee are also included in the advisory which goes from 6 tonight to 6 tomorrow night.
