Four Appointed in Northeast Arkansas

Governor Asa Hutchinson has appointed 4 from the KASU listening area to various state boards and commissions.

Friday, Hutchinson appointed Deana Osment and Al Heringer of Jonesboro to the Arkansas Economic Development Council.  Osment is replacing Shelby Moore and Heringer is replacing Thomas Kirk.

Rod Soubers of Mountain Home is replacing Ruth Anne Hawkins on the Arkansas History Commission.  On the Arkansas State Medical Board, Dr. Jim Citty is being replaced by Dr. David Staggs of Searcy.

Marcus Lamberth, Batesville, to the Arkansas Racing Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2021. Reappointment. 

Jerry Riley, Pine Bluff, to the Parole Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2023. Replaces Richard Brown.

Sylvester Smith, North Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Claims Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2021. Replaces Richard Mays. 

Jesse Turner, Pine Bluff, to the Board of Visitors for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Appointment expires January 14, 2023. Replaces Robert Dill. 

Johnny Hudson, Little Rock, to the Board of Trustees of Henderson State University. Appointment expires January 14, 2023. Replaces Carol Atkinson.
