Wining and Dining in Arkansas - 11/11 Weekend

As we get closer to the holiday season, Travel Writer Kim Williams has the scoop on some fun events that you will want to sink your teeth into them.

Williams takes you to a city in Northwest Arkansas where they are hosting a special wine and dinner event.  You can also participate in cooking classes  and experience exquisite tastes.

After dinner, you must eat desert.  Williams knows of another event in the central part of the state in the mountains where you can partake of delicious treats of the holidays.

After getting your fill of good eats, Williams will tell you about some shopping events to help you walk off your meal.  Whether you are into classic antiques from the 1950's or fine works of art, you will find something to add class to your home or office at these events.

Finally, Williams mentions the 21st annual Arkansas Trail of Lights event, which you can find more information about here.

Featured locations include Conway, Morrilton, Eureka Springs, and Little Rock.

A Northeast Arkansas native from Wynne, I’ve been involved with radio for about 15 years. I got my Bachelor of Arts degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, where I also served as an award-winning News Director for 2 years at KSWH-LP.
A graduate of the radio-television program at A-State, Mark Smith earned his degree in broadcasting in 1986 and received a Master of Public Administration in 2015. He actually started in radio in 1982, just out of high school, with a part-time summer job at KBXM, a small AM station in Kennett, Mo. After his freshman year at Arkansas State, he landed another summer job at KBOA/KTMO in Kennett and continued to work weekends there while attending college.
