Various road construction projects are taking place this week in Northeast Arkansas.

In Craighead County, the state Highway and Transportation department will replace a drainage culvert underneath a strech of road on highway 351 around the Crowley's Ridge Raceway.  A portion of the road will be close Wednesday until 4:30.  More details are available here.

Also on Wednesday, the east end of Aggie Rd will be closed as crews work to install a pipe.

Expect delays at the Southwest Drive-Main St. intersection for the next couple of days as work crews install drainage tiles for the new businesses being built in the area.

Finally, in Randolph County, southbound traffic on the highway 67 bridge in Pocahontas will be altered.  According to the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce website, for about 2 weeks, traffic along the bridge will be one lane.

Motorists wishing to go into East Pocahontas will need to use the left lane.  The right lane will only be used for right turns from Broadway to the Highway 62 turn.
