Police Continue to Search for Missing AR & TN Girls

Two girls are missing and police need your help.  An Amber Alert was activated Wednesday for 12-year-old Jamiria Murray from Edmonson in Crittenden County.

  Murray was last seen at Wedlock Alternative School wearing blue jeans, a black short sleeve shirt, and flat black shoes.  She’s a 5 ft tall, 130 pound black girl with brown eyes and long braided black and purple hair.

Chief Zane Boyd told KAITthat she was last seen being picked up in a black "Mercedes-type" car from the school.

Anyone with information on Murray is encouraged to call Chief Boyd at 870-702-2000

An Amber Alert is still active for 9-year-old Carlie Trent from Tennessee.  According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, more than 1,200 tips have been reported across 19 states on Trent’s whereabouts, including Arkansas and Missouri. 

She was signed out of her Rogersville school last week from her 57-year-old non-custodial uncle Gary Simpson under false pretenses.

Trent is a white blond hair girl with blue eyes, about 4'8" tall, and about 75 lbs.

Simpson is a balding with brown hair and eyes.  He was last seen wearing a brown cap and dark colored jeans and shirt.

They were last seen in a white 2002 Ram 1500 van with a dark stripe down the middle and Tennessee license plate number 173GPS.

A $15,000 reward has been offered for information on the case.
