JONESBORO – Arkansas State University Museum’s newest exhibit, "Eat Well, Play Well," is now open and continues until Aug. 7.

Visitors at this highly interactive, hands-on exhibit will test their flexibility and balancing scores, make healthy eating and fitness choices on a computer, and peddle like mad as they work off calories of chosen, virtual snacks.

“The six components of 'Eat Well, Play Well' showcase attainable healthy lifestyle choices, especially for children aged 3-8,” says curator of education, Jill Kary. “We want kids to leave the exhibit understanding that healthy habits are essential, but they can be fun.”

Eat Well, Play Well is made possible in part by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation and in part by a grant from the Carl B. and Florence E. King Foundation.

ASU Museum hours are Monday and Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
