Work is expected to start soon on clearing the Cache River. Since the 1940's, silt, logs, and other forms of debris have clogged the Cache River in Jackson County near Grubbs. The result includes four log jams, two of which are each at least a mile wide each. KASU's Johnathan Reaves explains the problem and how it is being addressed in this report.
