The Jonesboro Police Department is investigating a rash of weekend pharmacy break-ins in Northeast Arkansas.

Police Chief Rick Elliot told the Jonesboro Sun they believe one group is responsible for breaking into the Woodsprings Pharmacy in Manilla and The Medicine Shoppe in Jonesboro early Sunday morning.

Both break-ins occurred within a span of 2 hours.  Elliot said security camera footage from the businesses showed the same white Chevy Suburban.

Only damage to the front door was reported at the Woodsprings Pharmacy.  Suspects caused damage to the front door at The Medicine Shoppe and stole over $3,000 worth of Hydrocodone, Xanax, and Adderall pills.

Suspects also stole a bank bag containing $150 from a locking cabinet.

No names have been released and the case is still under investigation.
