Ben Barylske, Chief Financial Officer for the City of Jonesboro, announced his resignation today. His last official day with the City will be August 13, 2015.

Barylske started his tenure with the City of Jonesboro as CFO in November 2010. Since then, he has streamlined the financial management systems of the City. His experience with the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit helped the City achieve a clear financial audit last year. Named Chief Financial Officer of the Year in 2014 by Arkansas Business magazine, Barylske has provided valuable financial guidance for the Administration for nearly five years.

“Ben has been a valuable member of our executive team. His financial management expertise has helped put our City on a sound financial footing, and we have achieved the significant goal of being debt-free. We will miss him and wish him well in his new endeavors,” said Mayor Harold Perrin.

Barylske will be taking the position of Chief Financial Officer for NEA Baptist Clinic.
