Arkansas facing cuts to the SNAP program

Nov 1, 2013

Arkansas is facing a 52-million-dollar cut in the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program.  The cut in funds was a temporary boost in the program provided through the 2009 federal stimulus program.  KASU's Johnathan Reaves reports food pantries may be called on to help make up the difference, which is a concern to organizations, such as the Arkansas Rice Depot.
