What is a KASU Member?

Members are a very special group of KASU listeners. They play a vital role in the quality of programming heard on KASU. Simply put, a member is someone who not only listens to KASU, but who chooses to take that next step – supporting KASU financially. Without the financial support of loyal members, KASU would not be able to provide programs such as ‘Morning Edition,’ ‘All Things Considered’, ‘Car Talk’, and ‘The Diane Rehm Show.’

Twice a year, KASU holds a Membership Drive, to inform listeners of the need for financial support. But you don’t have to wait until a drive to become a member. You can become a member at anytime at any financial level. The recommended giving levels are $60, $120, and the Correspondents Club level of $240 or more, but any donation is needed and appreciated. Correspondents Club members are not only eligible to receive a variety of “Thank You” gifts, but also receive invitations to special events sponsored by KASU.

When you join or renew your membership in KASU, you assure yourself another year of the best radio available. Membership is our largest source of private support—more than corporate support and foundation grants combined. If you’re not already a member and want to become one, or you need to renew your membership, call weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM to 972-2200 or 1-800-643-8269, or mail your gift to Mark Smith, KASU Development, P.O. Box 2160, State University, AR 72467. Thank you for listening, and for your support of KASU!
