The Arkansas Craft Guild will hold its 39th annual Christmas Showcase and sale on December 1, 2 and 3, in Governor’s Hall IV, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. Show hours are 10 am until 8 pm Friday, December 1; 10 am until 6 pm Saturday, December 2; and 10 am until 4 pm Sunday, December 3. There will be special events on Friday and Saturday, with free admission. Friday's special event, 'Art After Hours', will feature a beer tasting provided by a local brewery from 5 until 8 pm. On Saturday there is the 'Early Bird Special' from 8 until 10 am. You will find a great selection of traditional and contemporary art and fine crafts by members of the Arkansas Craft Guild and their guests. For more than 50 years Guild members’ work has been juried on the basis of quality, design and fine craftsmanship. This quality is reflected in the wide assortment of unique hand crafted gifts you will find at the Christmas Showcase including pottery, woodworking, fabric art, glass beads, blown glass, photography, jewelry and gourmet foods. Admission at the door is $5.00 for all three days. Bring in your Christmas Showcase card, or, if registered, the email you receive from the Guild, and two people get in for one admission. Door prizes are awarded throughout the show. There will be a drawing at the end of the show for a $100 gift certificate which can be redeemed with any exhibitor at our 2017 Showcase, or at the Arkansas Craft Gallery at 104 E. Main, right off the Courthouse Square, in downtown Mountain View, Arkansas. The Gallery is the retail store for the work of Arkansas Craft Guild members year-round. The Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
